TRUCKOMAN
signs deal with Ministries:
MUSCAT - TRUCKOMAN has reached an agreement with the Ministry of
Higher Education, the Ministry of Manpower and the International Maritime
College of Oman on the provision of Scholarships lasting five years, to Students
at the College, which will enable some families with limited means to study for
top positions in the Maritime Industry.

Issa Mohammed Kalendar al Raisi signed the agreement for IMCO, Dr.
Abdulkarim al Mughairi, DG of Occupational Standards and Curriculum development
for the Ministry of Manpower, Dr Saeed al Rubai, general Manager of private
Colleges and Universities for the Ministry of higher Education and Faisal bin
Mohammed al Yousef, Chief Operating Officer, for TRUCKOMAN.
Faisal, acting on
behalf of Dr. Mohammed bin Moosa al Yousuf, board Chairman of TRUCKOMAN
greeted his Majesty of Sultan on the 35th National Day.
Faisal said
scholarships offered by the company to students belonging to social security
families are considered a humble contribution to the country's service and a way
of expressing gratitude to the Royal attention accorded to the private sector.
He thanked IMCO,
headed by its Chairman his Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tareq al Said, for
helping streamline procedures and obtaining an approval for the Company's
Proposal. He also thanked Manpower Minister Jumaa bin Ali al Jumaa for
supporting the idea.
The Company
sponsored the Studies of 9 Omani Students at IMCO. The step, which coincides
with the 35th National Day celebrations is seen as a means of responding to the
directives of His Majesty the Sultan to provide more private sector support, in
terms of training, to the Omani Youth.
