Oman KCA Deutag Drilling Company LLC is an Omani company, a member of KCA Deutag group of companies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Abbot Group plc.,one of the largest and successful Oilfield services groups, listed on the London Stock Exchange (ABG.L) and headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK.

Premier Worldwide Services owns 13.4% of shares in Oman KCA Deutag.


KCA Deutag empleoys over 3,500 professionals worldwide in some of the most demanding drilling environments extending from central Asia and Middle East to Siberia. As one of the oldest drilling companies KCA Deutag has extensive know-how on drilling processes and techniques in a variety of climatic and seismic conditions.

Oman KCA Duetag operates a variety of rigs that are specially designed to suit the desert conditions.

The T 51 Rig currently assigned to exploration wells of 7,000 metres in depth in the south of Oman is the largest rig in the GCC region. Oman KCA Deutag employs over 600 personell of which 420 (70%) are Omanis.
